Slow Page Load Can Hurt Search Engine Optimization

When mapping out an SEO strategy, the last thing you probably think about is how fast your pages load. As your site becomes more popular and generates more traffic, speed will undoubtedly become an important factor.
Once you reach the top of the search engine rankings, your number of visitors is likely to increase significantly. If your pages are loading slow, all those efforts may go unrewarded and you stand to lose all the traffic you worked so hard to bring in. In order to keep visitors around, you want your pages to load as fast as possible, preferably in a couple of seconds.
Generating traffic is hard enough; ranking well, in the search engines, even more so. When visitors come to the site, don’t fail them with web pages that take forever to open. By doing so, you are essentially throwing all of your SEO efforts out of the window. Can you really afford to miss out on business?

I have a lot of google ads on my site. I recently submitted my site for a load test at submit plus.com The test showed the google ads were slowing my load time down. My problem is I don’t know how to speed up the load time. Google won’t let you delete any ads once you get them. I have taken a couple of them off the site but my load time actually increased in slowness. My website address is http://www.thestartershack.com I have inserted several other website address’ to the test and they are much slower than mine and they seem to get a lot of traffic. Whats the answer?
