Demand for SEO Grows While Economy Plummets

It might seem absolutely crazy, but the demand for SEO is growing and growing. Even with the struggling economy, there are more people in need of optimizing their web sites. When you think about it carefully, it might not be that crazy after all.

People need to bring traffic to their web sites if they’re going to survive in this economy, and one of the best and least expensive ways to do that is through SEO. When you look at the return on investment that you get from good SEO, it’s almost like free advertising, and there are a lot of people out there who can create SEO content for you. In the past these people, were somewhat looked down on and they definitely weren’t taking seriously, but they are starting to be seen as more important and more valuable now.

The SEO bubble keeps getting bigger. It might pop one day like the dotcom bubble, but it doesn’t seem likely. It’s based on different things and businesses always need advertising. If they can get it for almost free on a global medium like the Internet, why would they do anything else?
